I have an Asia notebook and it won't connect to

your question lacks sufficient information for anyone to offer you an exact solution. the best I can suggest is that you follow some general troubleshooting steps. make sure your internet service is active, properly connected, your router is powered on, etc. if possible, plug in a different computer to see if it too has the same problems connecting. if so, the issue lies with your service, not the computer. if another computer can get online, then start checking for software issues on the system that has the trouble. to get into addressing how to do that, you'll need to provide more details including which operating system you're using, how you're connecting your computer to the internet service, what kind of service you have and who provides it, what exactly happens when you try to connect, what steps you have already tried to resolve the problem, what the results of those efforts had been, etc.

I have a Toshiba A105-S101; just had to reinstall XP Pro on this laptop.. my internet is hooked up to my desktop and I need this laptop to connect to my wireless internet. What can I do to get it, Im...

Good day.
Since you already have a wireless connection, it would be easy for you to connect to the wireless network as long as you know your Network name(SSID) and wireless key which could be WEP or WPA. On the lower right hand on part on your desktop, also called the system tray, please look for the wireless icon which looks like an antenna with radio waves. Right click on that icon and please click "View available wireless connection," your network should appear on the list. Please click on your network name and click "Connect" to start your wireless connection. If it prompts for a wireless key or password, you could contact your Internet Service Provider to provide you with the password.

I hope this has helped you today.

How do i find my router or wpa on a acer aspire one thanks

Your router is a separate hardware
its the device that allows you to have internet
usually a small box, the wpa should be there on the router thats a password to access the
wifi network, if its not on a sticker call your service provider and also verify that your router has wifi

Cannot connect to internet explorer. replies PPPo. concentracter not here. net book does not connect to internet. worked at christmas now it says page cannot be displayed. model# synet7wid

PPPo is generally a setting on DSL modems, not on a computer. Can you verify that your modem is working correctly? Is any other computer in your house able to connect to the internet? If you ISP (internet service provider) modem has lost it's settings, your internet connection would not be available, thus the message your are getting on your netbook.

Please let me know if your internet connection is available for other computers and what kind of internet service you have.

I will watch for your reply.

If you had it connected by wire, check the side of the computer for a switch. This will torn on your wireless connection.

Toshiba Satellite 1400-S151 has no hard drive and no dc adapter

It appears that the computer you bought on EBay only has the Windows opertating system installed. Did the seller give you a full specification and configuration including installed software? What other parts are missing? As for an Internet connection, you need a network card and an Internet Service Provider, have you arranged for this?

I have an old hp laptop and a cable modem internet connection currently on a new computer. how do i go about configuring the internet connection from one computer to the other?whenever i plug the modem...

OUR YOU TRY TO CONNECT BOTH LABTOPS TOGETHER TO TRANSFER THE INFORMATION.

THE CABLE MODEM HAS AWAY TO CONNECT TO THE NEW PC.

YOU NEED TO CONTACT YOUR INTERNET PROVIDER AND EXPLAIN YOU HAVE OLD CABLE MODEM AND YOU WANT TO UPGRADE TO THE NEW EQUIPMENT SETUP BUNDLE, THEY WILL SEND YOU A BOOK, CDROM OR DVD, THAT WILL TALK YOU THREW THE NEW PROCIDURES OF HOOKING UP THE NEW SYSTEM.

THE NEW AND OLD SYSTEMS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE IN ANY SINCE BECUASE THE WINDOWS VERSIONS, UPGRADES, SERVICE PACKS, WHAT THE SPEED IS, AND IF YOU HAVE 16BIT, OR 32BIT OR 64BIT SYSTEM, THERE ARE SOME 8BIT SYSTEMS BUT I HAVENT SEEN ONE IN A LONG TIME.

Computer problem

This sounds like a problem is on your internet providers end. It's very unusual for two machines to experience the same problem, at the same time, on the same connection. Have your internet provider come out and do a check on the lines. If the internet service checks good, then let me know and I'll get some more info from you and see if I can narrow it down, but for now let's wait for a tech to check the system.

Wireless connection lost

Wirless and modem systems both are different, there is no connection between them.

If you were using your modem for internet access then you should chek-out your modem and phone-lines etc. Wirless will not effect.

verify your modem driver is installed correctly and check the settings.

Thanks
