I have a Garuda phone its pantech htp-801 with data cable and i got the cd with cable and I hv vista home premium 32 bit on my pc and internet is fine working on it if u have facing some prob with same then try it with hentel htp drivr which come with it ......I hv recieve the net surfing speed aprox 80 to 130 kbps and 10 to 21 downloding speed

Follow the link given below and download appropriate drivers for ur phone model which works with any OS ..... For more information and support (Regarding FWT/WLL )Please dont feel shy to write to mobile@huawei.com......... My sincere advice is plese dont swith ur Internet connection from BSN to any private operators (Especially AirTel and Reliance)

ok
the problem with the hantel modems is that they made them for only bsnl and other corporates, so you wont get drivers for each os
like even they wont work on vista, linux, unix , solaries
ie other than windows 16X , 32X os they wont work at all
solution is:
1. ask BSNL for other modem or facilitate you to let connect with some other company's product like
Acer, Micronet or etc whose driver is avilable, a rather good non tech solution for basic users.
2. solution 2 is that install virtual mac for vista then install xp on that and then run net.

hentel usb modem is not taking driver from the driver cd which is provided my the mtnl when we took the connection but its not working in windows vista.

mtnl gave me data cord with promise that HTP-801 works successfully with USB Data Cord. But now they say that it does not. They refused to buy back the data cord too. should not they be giving me the latest instrument which shall work on vista business os. Peekay
