Question about Digital Cameras
Ther eare 2 possibilities that come to mind that I have seen ( I will asume that the lens cap has been removed...)
1) The iris is stuck. This can happen especially with no use because small amounts of lubricating oil can get onto the iris and cause it ti stick.
2) The CCD has failed or the power to it has a problem.
In either case, the camera needs service by a trained tech.
