Sound Problem Vizio VP42

When I turn on the Vizio VP42 after a while the sound go off for several seconds then back up again as normal... or sometime you have a piiiiiii sound for a few seconds them the sound is back to normal... The problem is temporal and it can take only a few minutes to happen or sometimes maybe an hour... Everything else is working excellence... can you help me... can this be a defective speakers or some board..problems... If so wich board can be causing this fault... Thanks...

Apprenticetry to connect an audio amplifier to the audio output, if the sound is good, it might be your speaker or check for a cold solder into the audio output board and check a leaking capacitor into the audio board. Just follow where your speaker wire connected to the board to find the audio circuit. Good luck.
