Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition

Vista with turbocad

Hello,
Hopefully you can help. We have a new computer with Vista and we use Turbocad v9. We have the newer version of Turbocad but it is not very user friendly, The turbocad v9 works on the vista but none of the symbols appear. Is there any patch for this? the owners are wanting to ditch vista and reload XP. What is your advice?

Hello Robinmia, When it comes tp a production environment, the owners are right. Productity is the most important. Check the website support for Turbocad v9 for the patch. If none Windows Xp should be loaded.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Hi ralph81
The problem is that you are now running a Windows 7 64-bit system on your computer and your product dosen't seem to be compatible to it .
A solution could be a workaround : install a virtual version of Windows XP on your system . You ' re welcome back if you need further assistance or information . Just add a comment below .

I have TurboCAD Designer 2D for Mac V.5 December. Last night I opened my old project, made some changes and saved it. Now when I try to open that revised file I saved last night, I get error message:...

Hello!

If autosaved is enabled in your CAD, then most likely you can recover a n sv$ file of it saved in a temp folders. You can rename this file and change the extension from .sv$ to .dwg.

This link may help you find the folder where autosaved CAD file is stored

This link might help you also.

Good Luck!

Turbocad starts to register regenmethods from tcimage.dll

Re: 11.2 Program will not start
I found this on the TurboCAD forums,

"Doesn't appear in "Applications" but appears in "Processes" in Task
Manager (XP)."

I posted the following there also.
====================================================================

I am having the same problem sort of. I installed it on my computer
and the TCStart Module stops responding.

If I click the TC icon, the TCStart Module will open, but if I click
on "NEW" it just closes and stops responding.

I tried opening a file that I had brought home on a disc, clicked on
it, and it will not open.

If I try to open the file from the Start Module by navigating to the
file location, the whole thing stops repsonding.

[EDIT]
One more thing, at the bottom of the Start Module it says, "TurboCAD
starts to register RegenMethods from TCimages.dll...", and it stops
there. I don't ever remember seeing that before.
[/EDIT]

Can't access a registration page for Turbocad 9.1 I am reloading from my original disk and the page is unavailable

It happens! Don't stress. Turbocad is up to version 17 from what I can see and often companies don't care to maintain the registration websites for older software generations. It doesn't mean your ownership of the software is invalid or the software won't work, it just means you can't refresh your registration information with the company.
Don't worry, you'll be fine!

Evaluation expired - not true!

Check the Preferences folder in the System folder to see if there is a TurboCad related file there that might contain an old date.  Delete it and see if TurboCad will start.  If it does it will probably create another file in the Preferences folder that has a new start date for the evaluation period.

Reference Manual "TurboCAD Version 10," required

I don't know if this will help but your best solution would be to have a friend at a local office or school print it for you. In the US we have Kinkos, OfficeMax that will print for so much money per page.

For the manual, you could always go to the TurboCad website and perhaps see if they have a manual you can purchase. Call the US telephone support line: 1-800-833-8082, they might be able to sell you a printed copy.
