Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Without a windows xp cd you are left with only 1 option. If you have a different machine which is connected to Internet or has windows xp installed, you can download the boot files from the net or copy the boot files located on the root of C drive (ntldr, boot.ini) onto a pen / floppy drive. then change the boot order in the bios to boot from the pen drive. It should work if you have the similar partioning scheme of the source computer. If booting is successful, u can copy those boot files to your computer's C drive.
Let me know what happens.
