I have just bought this blu ray player and a new led tv. I have 6 blu ray dvd's and none of them will play. After reading the disc for a few minutes it just says "disc error". i currently do not have any aerial connection and was so hoping to watch a good film tonight. Please help. a

If you can't get a menu picture from blu ray, check output jacks going from player to tv. if you a picture from blu ray menu, then you may need to clean the lazer eye in blu ray player.

Could be either dirt on the disc or lens of the machine. Clean both!

i'm having the same problem with regular dvd's. it'll play blu-rays o problem

It's something about the Burlesque dvd. I have the same problem with mine when I try and play it on my Sony blue-ray player. It's the only disc I have that it won't play. Disc is a DVD Video disc but it will no't play in the Sony player. It plays fine on other dvd players and my computer, but not on the Sony.

Hello, A Blu-ray disc cannot be read on a regular DVD player unless it specifically says it can. The reason is the DVD player does not have a BLUE Laser assembly installed in it. Some newer blu-rays are backwards compatible and can read DVD's, but not the other way around! You will have to purchase a BLU-Ray disc player to see these newer discs.

Check on the Panasonic website?Check,see,if ur DVD Blu Ray Player,if have the wright and the lastest software for the firmware.Might have to upgrade the latest software of the firmware.

Have you tried other DVD's in this unit and they work? If so it might be just an incompatibility issue with that DVD in your TV.
