I think you have not installed the graphics driver ....
check whether you have installed the graphics driver or not ...
if not install it and then you will be able get other resolutions ...
if already installed then try uninstalling and reinstalling driver...
if you are using the windows xp then it might have detecte automatically the standard graphics driver so try installing your graphics driver from the manufacture cd ....
then you will surely be able to get the other resolutions ...

if any problem reply me i am always here to assist you ..
thank you
bye

How to minimize the screen size to 800x600

Hello,

If you have win 7 you can right click on the desktop and select "screen resolution". Then where it says "resolution" you click the drop down box and scroll it all the way down to the lowest resolution setting 800 x 600 and click apply. You may get a little box pop up that asks you if you would like to keep the settings click yes.

The screen display looks odd and undersized, and the icons are smaller than usual

Hello,
Nvidia 9300GS is a well-performing graphics card. Such display resolution problems should not occur. To resolve issues of faulty display, download and install the latest driver of your Graphics Card. Go to Nvidia's official website and get your device's WHQL Version of driver, don't go for the Beta drivers.
Thank You.

I have a Mag Innovision 2200W Monitor. I messed with the settings, and now I get a ''mode not supported'' error. The computer is running in the background, and works with other monitors, but not this one....

Hi

To resolve this issue connect a monitor which is working with the Computer. Now right click on desktop and select properties(if windows XP) or personalize/screen resolution (if windows vista / 7)-> Now click on settings tab (windows XP) or change the resolution of your monitor-> Choose a lower resolution rate maybe 800X600. Now try connecting the other monitor with your Computer and it will work.

If not then check for the refresh rate of your monitor, adjust it to 60 Hz. You can adjust refresh rate from settings tab->advanced button(in XP). Screen resolution/Display settings(under windows 7/vista)->Advanced setting->monitor tab ->refresh rate.

This will surely resolve your issue.

The letters are grainy using the data projector

Try changing your setting s on your computer to match the resolution to your projector. Change display settings to 800x600, 1024x768, etc. with your mouse right click on your screen, click properties, at the display properties dialogue box click the settings tab you should see the screen resolution.

When diablo 2 is loaded the game dose not go full

If you are not playing in windowed mode, Diablo II takes control of your screen and changes it's resolution down to 800x600 or 640x480. If you are in windowed mode, there are other things on the screen, so Diablo does not have control of your resolution. Diablo II can not scale up it's window to more than 800x600. If you want the 800x600 to take up more of your screen, then set your screen to a smaller resolution.

Sharper Imaage

This is an SVGA projector with a max resolution of 800X600. Even though it can accept higher resolution signals, they are scaled down to 800X600 which causes degradation and artifacting of the displayed image. Obviously setting your computer's resolution to 800X600 will result in the best image the projector is capable of. Standard definition video (480i, 480p, S-Video or composite) signals should also display very well. High definition signals like 720p and 1080i get scaled down to 800X600 with the same issues as a higher resolution computer signal.

One thing that can have a dramatic impact on the quality of your display if you are using Windows XP or Vista is tuning your ClearType settings here:
