My 1993 blazer was running fine today, all of a sudden it quit running, it appears that the fuel is getting shut off, I sprayed some ether in the intake, it starts right up , some times it stays running for a few minutes, and some times for a few seconds, the fuel filter is brand new, also it seems that it will start and run when the engine is cold but as soon as it warms up the engine quits running

If you have the spider fuel system on this vehicle, that system is known for problems.
What-ever fuel system you have, check for proper fuel pressure, key on engine off.
How long since a tune-up?

fuel pumps will run constantly when the ignition is on as the pressure regulator is allowing the excess fuel to return to the tank. IF ether fires then you have spark but what you do not have is injector operation. Check for pulse at the injectors and that they are clean and not blocked up

Have you checked base fuel pressure with a gauge yet ?
Sounds like the fuel pump may have finally died.

I have 2000 Chevy blazer 4.3 l v6 vortex I had the same problem I would spray starter fluid into the air flirted canester Nd it would start as soon as I stopped spraying the fluid the engine would die first I checked to make sure my gas pump was working in the gas tank second I checked my fuses under the hood and last the fuel pressure so my gas pump was on in the tank fuses were also ok but I had no pressure on the gas line so that ment my gas pump was bad I replaced it after replacing it my blazer fires problems free now

Change your fuel pump.

If You can start the vehicle off ether only then you have a fuel issue. the pump is working and the fuel pressure regulator is too. so either the injectors are not getting an electrical signal to open and close of possibly, Your oil sending unit is defective and has shut down your fuel system (a safety).

maybe a short that's causin it not to start

I put a new fuel pump, fuel filter, and a fuel pump relay and the fuel pump is still not coming on. I am not getting any fuel. Can you please tell me what it might be.
