If you are getting F6 flashing on the display then it means there is a lid fault. This is usually hard to fix by yourself unless you are already familiar with fixing these type of things.

Not sure why you worked out it is to do with water supply.

I can give you some instructions on checking what could be wrong with the lid but you will have to get the drawer out from the housing. I am assuming you have a single drawer unit. Let me know if you are interested in checking this or calling a technician.

Dishwasher ADPU 701 WH showes error code F6 E1. Stopped mid cycle. What to do ?

Error code F6 E1 on a dishwasher typically indicates a problem with the electronic control board. This can be caused by a number of factors, including a power surge, a malfunctioning component, or a problem with the wiring.

Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check the power supply to the dishwasher. Make sure that the outlet is receiving power and that the power cord is securely plugged in.

Reset the dishwasher. To do this, unplug the dishwasher for a few minutes and then plug it back in. This can often reset the electronic control board and resolve the issue.

Check for any loose or damaged wires in the dishwasher. If you find any, tighten them or replace them as needed.

Test the electronic control board. If you have a multimeter, you can test the control board to see if it is functioning properly. If it is not, you may need to replace it.

Check the water supply to the dishwasher. Make sure that the water supply valve is open and that there is no blockage in the supply line.

Check the dishwasher filters. If the filters are clogged, they can cause the dishwasher to malfunction. Clean or replace the filters as needed.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to call a professional appliance repair technician for further assistance.

My Heller DWH3 is displaying error code 6. What does that mean?

The Heller DWH3 appears to be a Dishwasher, so I moved category from Laundry Washing Machines.

The Heller appears to be a little known make here in North America, and the only similar name 'Hella' I know makes car spotlights. If it shares codes with Haier, it is this, the Flood Protection Device and is very common. There is a tray and sensor in the base.

E6: All four lights flashing

Haier dishwasher E6 error code indicates that the flood protection device has been activated and the water supply will need to be turned off, stopping any more water from flowing into the dishwasher and leaking out.

F6 error fault code
This is the Water tap closed. What that means is that the flow meter is not recording water entering the dishwasher, this can be a water tap turned off (suprisingly more common than you'd think, after new flooring or decorating has taken place),
water hose kinked or blocked, the dishwasher water soleniod valve defective.

F6 E6 error code?

Hi,

This fault is a communication error at the appliance manager, could be a loose wire or a bad display transformer, either way you will need a certified technician to fix this issue, there is no simple plug and go issue to resolve. I personally found the problem to be the transformer not send voltage to the appliance manager. This is solvable but needs someone who understand electronics to correct this issue.

This is directly from the tech sheet of your oven and directly from the factory web site.

What does F6 mean?

The dishwasher can't take on water. Check that the water inlet is properly connected, the stop tap valve is open and that water supply is otherwise available to the dishwasher. Also check for kinks or blockages on the water hose.

F6. means "Water valve (WV1) is switched on but flow meter (FM) senses no impulses" (less than 10 impulses in 10 secs) and the water indicator (WI) is at a low level
Water Valve Closed. Water inlet hose blocked.
Water inlet valve (WV1) defective. Flow meter (FM) defective (leads to FM failure)

F8 flashing unit will not cycle gets water then starts beeping

F8 - this code is indicated that there is your dishwasher is having problems detecting the correct water level. Often this results from an insufficient amount of water entering the dishwasher during a cycle - so the water supply is probably ok but check it as F6 (F6 means that the dishwasher is unable to fill with water. Ensure that the dishwashers water supply is turned on (double check the tap valve to make sure its open). As above, also make sure that the inlet water hose is not obstructed, kinked or twisted), just in case.

Occasionally the water level sensor might misread if there a too many bubbles in the dishwasher (i.e. if you put washing-up liquid in the machine, etc).

Otherwise your machine may be having an issue with water pressure, possibly caused by a faulty water pump.

Hope this helps.

I had this problem and fixed it tonight. When selecting a program water pumps into the machine, but with no drain i ended up with too much water and error code E6.

I traced the fault to a broken wire between the electronic module in the door and the pump. The point at which the door opens and closes on the cables had frayed the insulation and broken through the wire. As this was the live feed to the pump and a potential short from 240VAC to the chassis its dangerous!!

Repairing the wire break and re-insulating fixed the problem
