Where can i get a replacement display screen for my Samsung model LTP326WX/XAA that doesn't cost 1k $ !!!

Plasma is old technology and it is 16 years old and made in Mexico, the worst place for quality control. It is time for a new one, or at least an upgrade. Or you can get a board kit and take a chance on fixing it.

Replacement displays are the most expensive part of the TV and getting a new one will cost more than a replacement TV. You can check on Ebay for a unit that will not power up and you may be able to get a screen cheap enough but it most cases if the screen is broken then the TV is not worth repairing. Sorry

defective back light lamp.check the inverter board thet supplies the high voltage to the lamp.retighten the connectors of the lamp.

You have bad capacitors on the Power supply board. I have included a picture of what they look like. It's not an expensive repair. This pix is not your board, just what the capacitors will look like.

I had the same problem. It is the capacitors. You can fix this yourself if you have a saudering gun. It is very easy and costs about $10 or less. You can even buy a cheap saudering gun. You just have to replace the bad ones and it will work fine after.

The problem is that the your TV is getting too hot inside. Buy a small 4" electric fan and point it into the back panel door (where the bulb would be replaced). This will keep things cool and prevent the turning on and off as well as a later malady of red color appearing on and off in various parts of the screen.

hi..for replacing a lcd display it costs just 1/4th of ur  original tv rate...Its better to replace ur tv panel and its of cheap rate only...

After few years of service with different TV providers I have problem with my TV. Last night my Samsung LTP326W just did the same think on HDMI connector and no mater what you do it will not turn HDMI video... it's connected to Verizon/Motorola DVR I called Verizon and they promptly replace DVR and HDMI cable but it didn't help at all, also sometimes when you power on/off I get message: The HD Content Protection of your display has been compromised Please use the YPBPR outputs for your HD connection...

When I switch to component cable it works just fine.
