Question about Saeco Odea Go

Saeco odea go, kind request for help

Hi Michael,
I think you were the one who helped the other Saeco Odea Go owner to the manual, and I think you directed me to the manual as well. My problem is that from one moment to the other my machine stopped grinding at all. I studied the manual thoroughly, but it does not mention what to do in such a case. You seem to be quite an expert in Saeco machines, do you happen to have some idea what I should be trying with it?
I do apologize for disturbing you with my problem. Thank you very much for your help in advance,

Nora

Hi,

I think your grinder engine is the problem, it can be a sensor too.
Hard to give a solution when i not see how the machine works.

Hi, I have a saeco odea giro plus that has just started to leak nearly all of the brewed coffee into the dreg drawer! Any ideas? thanks in advance...

I had a crack in the tube that connected to the brew group that resulted in a similar dumping of coffee in the dregs (and below the dreg drawer and onto the counter) in my Saeco Odea Giro. Replacing the "Saeco Odea Giro Coffee Dispensing Tube, part number 11003468, fixed my problem. You can replace this yourself if you are very handy. These photos are very helpful (The Go seems pretty similar to the Giro.) http://odeago.zxq.net/Odea_Go_Repair/Welcome.html

Det røde lys slukker ikke på Saeco Odea Giro plus Kaffemaskine er helt ny kun brykket to kopper kaffe

is it the green flashing light? If so it is the thermostat that needs resetting. You can return it for repair, or I have made a website explaining how to do it yourself. http://odeago.zxq.net/Odea_Go_Repair/Welcome.html
hope it helps

Hi i have a grinder problem with my Saeco Odea Go

Try this remove all the beans using a vac cleaner, then turn to lowest-finest number, then remove screws on grinder lift chamber and turn knob to coarsest setting and reassemble and try machine, remember to adjust grind when machine is grinding.

No owners manual

Here's that manual - the English section starts on p.96:

Actually, this is a fairly complex espresso maker - I don't even see a clock on it.

Not working. Power on but shows a red flashing exclamation. Doesn't start making coffee. Hi! I'd like to ask for help with my Saeco Odea Go V2 that suddenly has stopped working and shows a flashing red exclamation. Looking for some info in the internet I found some disassembly diagrams and some how-to videos. I've realized that the problem is in the coffee brewing unit and have disassembled it following the diagrams to see how it actually operates. I've also activated the Test Mode and operated the brew unit so I noticed that I can put the brew unit all way up. The upper light flashes when it reaches the top but the problem is that a second after it starts its movement from the lower point the exclamation light also flashes and keeps flashing until I put the brew unit back down. It stops flashing a second before it reaches the bottom point and the lower light flashes once. So I've noticed that the trouble is on the lower switch of the two ones that interact with the big gear that moves the brew unit, but I've checked it with a electronic tester and it seems to be working properly, opens and closes the electric circuit when I manually operate it. The upper switch seems to be a limit switch one that stops the brew unit movement in both directions, lifting and lowering. But I don't know exactly what the lower switch is for. I think it could be pre-end switch to change the speed of the movement or so... The fact is that if it is NOT OPERATED (moving or upper point) the exclamation flashes showing the error and the coffee machine doesn't work at all. If it is OPERATED INDEED (only near or lower point) the exclamation stops flashing. May it be causing problems because of a software malfunction or any other matter? I've managed to repair the coffee machine by putting an adhesive tape that blocks the switch as always operated cancelling its function. Not a very stylish solution thought ;- but at least it works!!! Can anyone please give me any clue about the real function of this switch or a way to repair this coffee machine? Thanks everyone for reading and for your help!!!
