How to unlock lg kc910 when i put another sim card in it normally asks for the unlock code but on the LG it doesnt it just says "usim locked" Can anyone advise?

You must have sim card from network the phone is locked to. This is essential! Without the sim card you can not access phone menu and type the unlock code.
You need to go to a phone shop that stocks 3G sims. Get a $10 sim (a blank free one probably will not work). You didn't say whether you were on a pre-paid sim or a plan. Anyway call 3G and ask them activate it. Get the number off the sim before you ring them. They will need U to quote that. hope it helps :o)
to unlock kc910 lg renoir first remove sim card then turn on phone press call then
type in your keypad 2945#*910# then select
unlock usim then select network lock and type in 0792034201079318 then select ok
your phone in now unlocked

it sounds weird that it worked before with same sim card. Generally USIM locked message means phone is locked to network and you need to unlock it with network unlock code to remove USIM locked and use phone on different network.
