Hi boy_great,

You need to set the settings for the cover and without cover mode of the blackberry ,

Please follow the below steps :-

  1. Find the advanced option in the profiles menu and change the in and out settings for the holster or the cover. I hope this is the problem in your case.
  2. I direct removal of the battery also works sometimes , all you need to do , is
remove the battery when your phone is switched on and after thirty to forty seconds connect the battery back again and restart the phone.Hope his helps ..:)

Does this work with an evo shift 4g (sprint)

Jabt,

The Parrot supports the following bluetooth profiles: Headset Profile HSP 1.1, Hands-free Profile HFP 1.0, Object Push Profile OPP.

Your Evo should be able to pair using either the Headset profile or the Hands-free profile.

Thank you.

I am not able hear voice from other end during called or received call. But when I enable speaker or hands free I can communicate easily.

It is either one amongst these two.
Ensure that your activated profile is is not headset.
if profile has been changed to normal, and problem still continues,
then you'll know that the earpiece of the phone is bad, and needs replacement.
contact a mobile phone specialist for the earpiece replacement.

hope this answers your question

Do this :
*#7780# (*#rst0*) - This will soft reset your phone. It is different from *#7370# because all data, like contacts, calendar and notes, are not removed.
It will only reset the phone settings, such as profiles, themes and shortcuts.
