Remove front cover Lumix dmc-zs7

This camera doesn,t had a front cover at all maybe the lens has a cover.Just turn it on and the lens open automatically

You have not indicated the model number, but I guess it is Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10
Did you buy this from Amazon.com? I think this camera is not released yet. But you can download the manual for Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7. Most functions will be similar in these cameras.

My huband bought the Lumix DMC-ZS7 camera for me to take to my son's wedding. I never even got a chance to register the camera. I am ready to download the images to my mac computer and have found out...

Insert the card. Go into the camera menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions.

Why does windows media not read TDT video that the Lumix DMC-zs7 takes? is there a way to change the way the camera records video to something that's more user friendly?

I have a DMC-ZS7 and it takes two types of video...AVCHD Lite and Motion JPEG. What is TDT video?

I recently bought the DMC-ZS7 and took videos. I am unable to download them to my MAC for viewing. They do not download along with the rest of the pictures. What do I need to do? Thank you. Karen

If you took them as AVCHD movies, the Mac doesn't recognize them. They only work in the photofunstudio on a PC.

Which sd card is the best card for a pansonic dmc-zs7 camera, to shoot a lot of video?

You need a class 6 card for smooth video. A class 4 sometimes works but a class 6 always works. Stick with the name brands.

Panasonic lumix DMC-ZS1 - won't record video

It might be telling you that the card you have in the camera isn't fast enough to keep up with the demands of a video recording. You need to buy a more expensive card with a faster speed rating.

Do not try to use the same card from another camera. You run the risk of losing all your pics and possibly corrupting the card and the camera. Download any pics from the card to the computer using a separate card reader if necessary. Then, if you want to use the card in your new camera, format it in the camera first.
