I am thinking of buying a Sanyo HD LCD TV (LCD 32XR8DA). How do I know if it is digitally compatible? What makes a TV digitally compatible and aligns itself to the proposed Government changes?

The only time a converter box is required is when an external antena is used to receive the signal. If you currectly have either cable or a satelite service, no converter is needed. The new Verizon Fios is similar to cable.

Phillips tv rca remote how can i program?

RCA remote control have no set-up code to any Philips device types. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability.
Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.
Type in the "brand name" of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the display window and press Enter. It will make surf easy.

I need remote codes for a an rca tv with a phillips universal remote

4 digit codes for rca tv are 0704 0002 0406 0007 0011 0611 0811 0312 0514 0720 0102 0502 0601 0817 0917 0835 0901 0103 0803 0211 0912 0114 0519 0320 042. Generally, higher numbers are for newer TVs, Lowest numbers are for oldest TV. But your remote might be too old for the latest RCA TV.TVs.

Just purchased RCA HD Tv. What is the RCA code

We would be happy to help you with getting your DISH Network remote to control your RCA TV. We're going to start by pressing and holding the TV button located on the top of your remote until all mode button back lights come on, and then release. Use the number buttons to enter the codes for your RCA TV here are some of the codes we currently have: 503, 627, 633, 725, and 505. Press the pound (#) button. To check that the code works try several different functions on the remote to make sure it will properly operate the TV. Remember that some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, try the other codes listed for your RCA TV until you find one that is compatible with it.

We hope this helps and thank you for being a valued DISH Network customer!

I have Samsung A550 46 LCD HDTV, and Anteina IN Broken

Yes it can be fixed if the tuner board was not damaged. Get an RF modulator, you can pick them up at walmart, and use your RCA inputs in the back. All you do is input your main tv cable into the RF mod cable in, then connect to the out of it with your RCA cables and then into the RCA connect in, into the back of your tv. Or, like you said, you can input your main tv cable into your vcr/dvd then come out of that with the RCA cables, and again into the RCA cable in on your tv. This way you have to syncronize your channels after you do this to get the picture. You know, vcr on channel 3 while your tv is set to input 1 or whatever needs to be done.

Is the hitachi 46W500 blue ray compatible

It doesn't have an HDMI port, only a DVI port. You'd have to get an HDMI-to-DVI cable to get a true "digital" signal on the screen, but you'd still have to do your audio with the RCA jacks because DVI is video only whereas HDMI is audio and video.

As far as Blu-ray compatible, yes and no. It's a high-def TV, so if you hook a Blu-Ray player up to it you'll be in good shape but the built-in DVD player will not read or play Blu-Ray movies.
