How do you erase all your contacts at once? I need to give my phone to some one else and dont want them to have all me cell numbers.

Hi the PUK code is not a security code for the phone the PUK code is the security code for the sim card, to solve your problem all you need to do is contact your service provider and tell them you need your PUK code, they will ask you for the phone number of the sim card or the number printed on the sim card, they will then give you your PUK code they dont charge for doing this and they will give you the code over the phone and once entered this will give you access to your sim card again and get your phone working again.

the other option you have is if you dont need that sim card then you could just get a new sim card this then wont ask for the PUK code

doing either of the above will solve your problem, they wont charge for giving you the PUK code so that is your best option

You have two options. One is to erase user data, and one is to use factory reset. They are both under Security under your Phone Settings. You will need your 4 digit passcode, which is either the last four of your phone number (default) or the 4 digits you changed it to. Factory Reset will completely erase everything, and it will be like new again. So.... both ways result in losing your contact list. If you have Verizon go under media center and run backup assistant, which will save your contacts to the Verizon servers, you can then re-download the backup assistant once the phone is reset and all your contacts will be restored.

Generally, open your contact list and look for a menu item (maybe a soft key) look for edit or erase or delete.

Once your'e sim was not used for a long period of time, the network is automatically cut off. I had this one.

try default passcode 0000 or the last four of your phone number if those dont work you will probably have to contact your phone company to findout if there is a way to. or you may have to do a master reset which resets everything on your phone and may erase your phonebook, downloaded, ringtones, pictures and anything else you may have on your phone.

Usually you can put in your own cell number (with 1+Area Code). If that does not work you will need to contact your service provider and they can give you the correct retrieval number. They may be able to send the number to your phone through an Over The Air push.

you want to go to(i have a dummy v3m, may be slightly different) menu, settings, security, now this is where things get goofy.... the passowrd could be all zeros 4,6,or 8. or commonly the last 4 of the phone number. i would recommend choosing erase my contacts, and erase my contect before doing reset phone. do the first 2 and that shoould get rid of all the personal info you dont want someone else getting.
