You can recreate your configuration folder

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Macromedia\dreamweaver 8

rename the configguration folder to "configuration old"

Note: "USER" is your Windows username. If you are unable to see the “Local Settings” folder, it may be possible that you don’t have explorer set to view hidden files and folders. In explorer, click on Tools > Folder Options, click on the View tab and enable “Show Hidden Files and Folders”. Click ok.

Unable to recover outlook PST file

If the file is over 2Gb and this caused the corruption you could try the PST crop tool here:
Outlook Repair Toolbox - Outlook Repair Toolbox
Apparently running scandisk on the partition where the pst is stord can also fix it.
If the file is really important there are loads of tools on the net that claim to fix corrupt PSTs but you have to pay for them

Microsoft Outlook 2013

In most cases it is the corrupted Navigation Pane settings file that prevents Outlook from starting successfully, so the first thing you need to do is to mend it. Here's how you can do this on different operating systems:
1. If you use Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8, click the Start button. On Windows XP, click Start > Run.
2. Type the following command in the search field:
outlook.exe /resetnavpane
Note: Be sure to enter a space between outlook.exe and /resetnavpane.
3. Press Enter or click on the file in order to reset the Navigation Pane settings and then open Outlook.
Or try to repair your outlook.pst file using Outlook Fix Toolbox

Face book error message 'big_pipe' is null or not an object

Good morning, afternoon, evening or night; whatever time of day you are viewing this solution post. Thank you for choosing FixYa to assist you with your problem. You are receiving an error message stating "'big_pipe' is null or not an object". This means that the 'big_pipe' phrase is being ignored. To try to solve this problem, you will need to open the developer tools. To do this, click Tools and then click F12 Developer Tools (you can also press F12 on your keyboard). Click the script tab and switch to your Internet Explorer window. Click the error message icon and look at the URI (Universal Research Identifier), compare it on your developer tools window and check the URI button to make sure it has the same address. If it doesn't, click that button and find the correct address (the button has an address with a down arrow beside it). Use the scroll buttons on the screen to find the 'big_pipe' phrase. Click Start Debugging. A message will pop-up on your screen stating that the webpage needs to be refreshed; click Okay. If the solution was successful, you shouldn't see the error icon at the bottom of the window. Hopefully this will solve your problem.

McAfee not updating

Some files might have been corrupted somehow.

As per the error, you need to uninstall Mcafee and then reboot the computer. Then once your windows boots back, re-install Mcafee from the CD you purchased. That should solve any corruption problems.

Need help uninstalling?  Click Start -> Run, then type appwiz.cpl and press enter. You will get the Add/Remove programs. Go down and select Mcafee Total Security and click on remove and follow the simple instructions on the screen.

Microsoft office

When you try to start a Microsoft Office 2007 or Microsoft Office 2003 program, you may receive the following error message or an error message that is similar to the following:

Error 25090. Office Setup encountered a problem with the Office Source Engine, system error: -2147023836. Please open SETUP.CHM and look for "Office Source Engine" for information on how to resolve this problem.

CAUSE
This behavior occurs when the following conditions are true:

* Two people installed Office on the same computer.
* Both installations were completed by using the AllUsers="" parameter to set the installation for the installing user account only.
* When both people were prompted to remove files that were copied locally at the end of Setup, both people did not remove the files.
* One of the two people removed Office.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, start the Setup program for Office. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Insert the Microsoft Office 2003 CD in your CD drive or DVD drive.
2. If the Setup program does not start automatically, locate the Setup.exe file on the CD, and then double-click the file to start Setup.
3. After the Setup window appears, cancel Setup, and then respond to the prompts to exit Setup.

Note: You do not have to complete the Setup program. Setup fixes the error condition when it is first invoked.
