ok when i turn my motorola l6 on it says searching for network and it does not find a network. i have tried being on the roof but still nop reception! is there anyway i can fix?

bang it against the wall...it works sometimes but makes it worse at other times

As far as I am aware... The Motorola L6 uses the metal back plate as the aerial. Check the contacts to this plate and on the plate itself.

have you tried manually setting the network.
menu
settings
network
band - change it from auto to manual
if that does not help then takle the phone and have the antenna on the main-board service or replace
