My Bang and Olufsen Beomaster 2200 has a dud transformer and I need to know the toroidal power inputs for it so I can get an equivalent one.

A Samson db500a was given to me,it's a powered speaker system with built in amplifiers, it won't turn on. Does anyone know anything about this thing, schematics, test points, is it worth fixing??

i would guess a cap blew, and overheated the power transformer, should cost about $150 to fix, and the speaker is worth maybe $2-300, depending on the model

I have one AudioSource AmpOne amplifier. Someone has tampered with the transformer and has changed its original windings. Can anyone help me know what is the correct AC voltage that should be present

If I where you to be on the safe side, I would order a brand new transformer. Transformers are safety parts anyway and should also be replaced by exact types recommended by the manufacture of the amp. It's not worth tampering with the thing yourself only to have it burn your house down a few days later for want of spending some money on a new one!

Power supply output for Yamaha p4500 secondary output for the power supply so that i could check the voltage

Hi Joel, although we've sourced detailed schematic for this P4500 amplifier, there are no many voltage details on it for manufactures sake. Anyway, mine findings are. Secondary winding on main transformer should supply no less than 2 x 75 volts which makes after rectifying and filtration no less than 2 x 90 volts on capacitors with amplifier without input signal. Also transformer has to be very "hard" , otherwise amp will start clipping before reaching stated wattage on output.

Bang and olufsen beomaster 6500 remote pickup circuit not working, can it be fixed?

When "B&O" and "can it be fixed" appear in the same question, the answer is almost always always, YES! In 26 years of dealing with B&O, I have only encountered two products that couldn't be fixed!
When you say "remote pickup circuit," are you referring to the infrared sensor in the Beomaster itself, or do you mean one of your master control links (the sensors in the walls)? Either way, these pieces can be repaired, but probably by only a few B&O regional service centers.
Where are you located? B&O has regional service centers in several states. Repost with your geographical region and I can get you the regional service center information.
As to fixing it yourself... it's a B&O, you'll really want to take it to the service center. After all, would you put WalMart parts in your Ferrari? No, seriously, wherever the problem is, it can almost certainly be fixed. Where to send it depends on what piece is acting up.

Adcom GFA 5500 'mechanical' hum from amplifier

Possibly. Most amps filter out line hum via low-pass filters. If you can locate a schematic, those would be the caps to check.

Trying to source an off switch for bang@olfusen beomaster 2200 vintage 1977 1980

B & O use CPC for parts and spares. If they don't have one I suggest you contact B & O for advice on what to replace it with, as mains switches are safety parts and should be replaced with the same type where possible.

Bang and Olufsen 1980s Sound System. Broken input jacks for turntable. Broken Tape deck. Local repairers say they can't repair it because no spares

You will have to pay for the labor, if it's just truly broken RCA phono jacks, you can have them replaced by any ham radio guy or electronics guy with a soldering iron. It won't look perfect, but it will work just fine if it's only the jacks and not the switching circuitry. Radio Shack even carries (carried) single RCA chassis mount jacks to fix this.

Nad 310 no power

The output should be 24v ac. Sounds like you have a busted transformer. Did you check out the resistor in front of the transformer.

You sound like you know what your talking about so I will not bore you with suff like glass fuses and thermal couples.

Good luck, I have had a few items like this over the years. Sometimes it's just best to send them in to the manufacture. I would look for a replacement transformer. 120v ac to 24v ac around 5 amps. Test it out and see if it works... If not, send it in.
