Usually these are caused by a sensor issue or the alarm module problems.
The sensors can be the tilt-tow sensor or say glass breal sensor as examples. When these go out they keep feeding in a alarm. Unless you car was in a accident in its past most of the sensors never act up. The wiring can or the connections will. These can be expensive to track down for labor cost. The other end is going to be either something called an alalrm module or all activity module aam. This is usually fixed by replacing and is not cheap ( or even close to cheap).

If your filter is placed toward the deep end of your pool, it could be that the pool cleaners hose is too short to reach the shallow end. You might want to test it and add more hose if necessary. It could also be a steering failure. There are a couple things to check if this is happening. Check and clean the rear screen. Make sure that your cone gear is free and rotates smoothly. You might also need to clean, repair, or replace your gearbox.

I have a G4 and have to adjust the intake valves to reduce flow from the skimmers so it increases suction from the vacuum. That usually will bring it up from the seep end. If it worked before and not now, inspect your hose for leaks/rips/tears.

If your floats have started to absorb water, the unit may become reluctant to climb the slope from the deep end to the shallow end, although it may still at least start to climb and clean the wall.
