The mouse goes to sleep after a few minutes to help conserve battery life. When the mouse shuts off, try pressing a button and it "should" turn back on.

My acer mouse model number mg-0919 stops working after about 2 minutes. I have to turn the mouse off then back on. This happens constantly. What is going on? Is it defective? My mouse is under...

I had the same problem. This mouse came with my Acer Revo which was still under warranty. Tech support basically says to check the obvious (batteries, USB connection, RF interference). Their obviously canned answer goes on to detail a manual reconnect procedure that does not apply to this model. And when all else fails, get a new mouse.
This is what Acer tech support emailed me:
If you are experiencing issues with your wireless mouse not working properly, perform the following steps to troubleshoot the wireless mouse.

1) Ensure that the receiver is 8-inches from other electrical devices. Avoid placing the cordless devices on metallic surfaces.

2) Verify that the USB connector from the receiver is properly plugged into a USB port on the computer. Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port to ensure that the USB port is working properly.

3) Remove the batteries and then reinsert the batteries into the mouse, making sure that the battery polarities are correct.

4) Test the batteries to ensure that they still have a charge.

5) Try the manual connect procedure.

Manual connect procedure:

1) Press and release the Connect button on the receiver.

2) Within 30 seconds, press and release the Connect button on the mouse.

If the issue persists, we can replace your computer's wireless mouse.

We will ship the new wireless mouse within 3-5 business days.

Before placing an order for wireless mouse we would like to confirm the following.

1) Complete shipping address:

2) email address:

3) phone number:

In order to place an order for wireless mouse, the computer must be registered.

My logitech wireless mouse stopped working. I cannot figure out how to put new batteries in. Other than trying new batteries, I dont know what to do. I have no instructions for this mouse.

The screws are under the back 2 feet and under the label. The label you can just feel for the holes and press thru with a screw driver. For the 2 feet, you can either peel them off (and buy replacements or re-glue the old ones back on), or just press the screw driver thru the center of the feet

The red light of the mouse turns off. i take out the batteries and put them back in and it works only for a minute. the batteries are new. what'srong?

The light should turn off after some time of inactivity, to conserve battery power. Normally pressing a button on the mouse wakes it up.

Have logitech cordless mouse, red light is flashing put in new batteries still flashing it is with keyboard S 510

Keep the mouse without batteries for about 2 hours (i can't explain this why, but many times it works), then put the batteries back. if still not working then I don't think there is anything u can do with a mouse.

Keyboard not responding

Solution. My wireles keyboard stopped working except for the F-Lock key, the Media key and the sleep key. It wasn't batteries, even though I tried, communication was there because the above keys were working. Remove the batteries from your keyboard and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Press the red connect button a few times and other various keys every few minutes during that time. This may be the whole "capacitor discharge" trick, but I tired that with someone elses instructions and my keyboard did not work after 2 minutes of key pressing. I think it just needed more time to clear out the secure settings. Good luck, I was about to trash this keyboard until I tried again

Keyboard wont work after battery change

remove the batteries for 2 minutes. Try pressing the shift or ctrl button when typing. Could be they are soft-stuck.

New mouse, still has problems

Some mice eat batteries like they are nothing. I myself have a logitec wireless mouse and i must replace the batteries every two weeks. I would suggest getting another mouse.
