Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Have you gone through all the checks?
a) Is the power on?
b) Is it physically connected to the computer?
c) Have you checked the Cable and Port?
d) Do all the lights come on?
e) Are the drivers installed?
f) Have you tried reinstalling the drivers? To do this go to Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Device Manager. Click on Printers and RIGHT click on your printer - go to Properties and click on Update Driver. Note: any Hardware with problems will be shown by a yellow exclamation mark - do the same re updating the driver for any so marked).
If you have gone through a checklist as above, then perhaps it is time to take it to a repairer to see if there is a hardware problem.
If there is a hardware problem, get a quote to see if it is economical to repair or cheaper to replace the Printer. (Is it still in Warranty?)
