hi,
To Re- tune your TV you have to go to the Auto tuning option in the
menu. do the following procedure for auto scan all the available
channels.
To tune the free view analogue channels do the following procedure.
1. Press the Menu/setup button on the remote. 2. Select Auto tuning and press enter. 3.Select the country and press enter. 4. Select start and press enter. The automatic tuning will search for available broadcasts and should store the channels in the correct order. During the search the sound is muted. When all programs have been stored, the normal TV screen will appear. If you can sent your email address through fixya then i will sent the user manual for Toshiba 19A 615 DB. ok .
Can you be more specific on what you are trying to tune into? Satellite TV? What do you have on your TV screen; is it snowy, blue, or black screen? Please be more specific and I can attempt to assist you.
Switch TV on Press “MENU” on remote until 3 blue arrows appear Press “VOLUME” keys to tune up or down (shown on blue bar) When required programme is tuned, input required Channel number (appears on 2 green lines at top) e.g. 02 or 14 Carry on tuning and allocating channel numbers Select “MENU” to clear or wait until it clears by itself Channels should now be tuned to allocated numbers
First check Tv menu comes on screen?
Connect DVD Player at any a-v input and confirm picture on tv. This will confirm that tv has no problem except in tuning circuit.
Now check Antenna / cable hooked up in RF input of tv properly.
Perform Auto-Search / Auto-Tuning / Auto-channel on TV menu and tune all available channels.
Still blue screen? means TV Tuner looks bad.
I had a similar problem. You need to press the 2nd button down on the remote 3 arrows should appear on the screen. then use the volume + and - buttons to tune to correct channel. once the correct channel has been reached you need to enter the number of the channel u want stored ie 03. Hope this helps.
Please fine tune those B/W channels to obtain color picture. If TV is more then 4 - 5 years old, it needs resoldering in tuning area or might need replacement of IF block.
