You can use any jack as a replacement. You won't affect the quality, unless you wire it incorrectly, or you buy a very cheap jack. Gold plated won't do much difference in regards to quality. It will not be noticeable, but will look pretty!

Bought my headphones in South Africa, now living in the UK. My AC adaptor to power my charger of my headphones is not functioning properly. Could this be caused by the incorrect power adaptor, as it...

Hi,

Welcome to Fixya. You can check if the power output in South Africa and UK is the same. If you have 110 or 240V in africa check if the Voltage in UK is 110 or 220V aswell. If it is the same it only means that the adaptor is bad. If you can go to a store in UK find an adapter that is compatible with the headphone you can test it and see if it will work.

Thanks for using Fixya.

One earbud stops working

-Have you try this headphone plug to other device to find out it does the same thing or not.
-If it work with other then that meant your device's jack is worn out.

Good luck

I have a Motorola V3. Sorry I forgot to mention it. However, I did get into a Best Buy store today,; and went ahead and purchased the headphones with the adaptor already on it, and it works fine. It must just be the adaptor I bought off Ebay. Thanks for your response!

GE Bluetooth Transmitter - pairing problems

There should be a button on both the headset and the reciever. Y ou must hold them in intel they beep or start flashing.
Start with the transmitter first then headset. It may take a little playing around but you should be able to figure it out.

Audio problem

nope it never hurts to ask as in this case it seams theres a common problem where the headphone jack has a cold solder connection on the pc board or its broken loose from the pc board itself. Now unless you get instuctions on how to open this unit do not attemt to try!! as its all plastic locking tabs and you need to know where to press to realease these tabs .. I would contact www.samsung.com or call them and see what they have to say as there is probably a flat rate they charge to fix these units
