Malfunctioned I'm getting frustrated with my Easy Cap(not so easy after all). when i plug it into my usb of my computer the balloon comes up and says that the USB device as malfunctioned. I'm not sure if it's just the computer misreading the info or if my Easy Cap has malfunctioned. Has anybody else encountered this problem. Please let me know, thank you edub

Possibly the engine coolant sensor has malfunctioned and that would cause the engine to shut off or not start once it's up to temperature. Check the sensor, and the wire. If you can, plug in the computer to check the engine codes. Hope this helps.

Right click my computer icon, select manage, from the left side select device manager, then on the right side note any ! or ? marks and find your camera. it possibly has a problem. you should also be able to see your camera, in my computer as a removeable drive

If this problem still is not fixed you can go online and purchace the DeOxit and add a drop onto your USB port and USB plug in hole - you may not be making good connections...($6 easy repair)

Most times when electronics stop working on pc's is because of 1. bad drivers or 2. equipment issue it self. It is quite easy to see is it 1 or 2. Try to remove software for the Web Cam and keep camera unpluged and then reinstall software and only plug in camera when software tells you to do so. Also try to use diferent USB plug on your pc than the one you usually use with Web Cam. Once this is done if it does not work try installing it on another computer. It is a quick check and software is easy to uninstall. Make sure to back up your photos just in case of some kinda problems during uninstall. Good luck.

It sure is frustrating. USB has Malfunctioned does not necessarily mean the USB cable has malfunctioned. It could also mean the USB port in the PC. Go to Start->Ctrl Panel->System->HardWare->Device Manager. And check the USB Controllers right at the bottom of the list. Uninstall and reinstall the USB ports.

I had the same problem. I use kodak easyshare software and load my pics on to that. Then put all the pics you want in the picture tray. Have your frame plugged into the computer with your usb cord. Then go up to File menu and drop down to "copy to". On my computer it is Folder "E" which is the drive the frame is connected to. Then pick from the Resize drop down menu " best for picture frame', then click copy. You will see the program loading all the pics to E drive. When done, unplug usb cord and you will see it loading on your pic frame. As easy as this is to do, I found it frustrating as well, but when it works, it is easy. Hope this helps

try another computer. If it doesn't work on another computer then send the ipod to repairs.

If it works on another computer come back and tell me.

there is a complict device driver in the device manager. .. configure device manager and remove an auknown device driver especially the usb device and restart the computer

go to your control panel on your computer select system then hardware then device manager long list things on system will come up, go to universal serial bus control click on it now a list of usb will come up you can click on each one checking these are working if you find one is not try updating driver to see if this will fix problem
