I dont have installer driver hp 695c

You can download a driver from the manufacturers website which is located at www.hp.com. Click on support and then download drivers/software. Enter the model number of your printer and follow the prompts to download and install the drivers. Do not connect your printer to your pc until the drivers and/or software is installed.

Good luck!

I cant print wireless on my hp Laserjet 1015 Printer. I have it like a Directed connected shared printer to my PC. By the way, the operative system of my pc in which i have it connected is XP, and it does...

Hi,

With that, you need to install the printer into your windows 7 computer and windows vista computer.
Even though the printer is installed into your windows xp computer wirelessly and set up as shared printer, you still need to install it on to your other computer because you need to install the driver and other printer's software to maximize the features.

Since the printer is already connected, you just need to run the appropriate installation package, the one that's compatible with your Operating System, and install it via Wireless or via Network. For the correct installation package. You can download it from the hp website and check the Support and Driver's section.

Cheers!

I have window 7 and I can not install my printer. It is telling me the system can not find the file specified.

Check your network status. The driver is found by Windows Update and the computer needs to be connected to the internet.

Windows Update also needs to be set to at least check for updates. Setting Windows Update to automatically install updates is the most convenient. Click on the Start button and in the Search Programs and Files box, enter change device installation. Click on Change Device Installation Settings. In the Window that opens. select Yes, do this automatically (recommended) if it isn't already selected. Click Save Changes. Restart the computer if it prompts you to do so.

If Windows Update is set to download but not install updates, go into Windows Update and look for an HP update in the list. Check for new updates if you do not see it.

I hope this helps.

My hp 5740 won't print for my new hp laptop, but prints for an older Toshiba laptop. I tried downloading driver softwear, but nothing is helping. Please help

What OS does your new laptop have? If Windows 7 or Vista, the driver is in the OS. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=uk&product=357202& has more information.

For Windows 7, the install is easiest if you have Windows Update set to automatically download and install updates for hardware. Click on the Windows key, in the Search Programs and Files box, type "change device installation" without the quotes. Click Change device installation settings, and the appropriate window will open. Select Yes, do this automatically (recommended) if it isn't the current option. Then Click Save Changes. Restart your computer if needed.

Then plug in the printer's USB cord to the printer and turn it on. Then connect the cable to the computer and watch for a Your devices are ready message.

If you have already connected the printer to the computer, but did not have Windows Update on automatic. Click the Windows key or the Start button, click on Windows Update. Look for any HP updates in the list and install. Try checking for new updates if you do not see the update.

Please note that you will lose some of the features of the printer. (the button for PhotoSmart Essentials will not work for example.) You will also need to set Printing Properties from File> Print > Properties instead of HP Toolbox.

I hope this helps.

My printer Canon LBP 2900 won't work on my new computer windows 7

There are none and I am sorry but there probably never will be, See this is the major problem with Win 7 anything over a year old generally just isn't supported.
Here is how to Install them so they work. Download your XP driver you wish to install. If it's in a zip/rar file then extract it to your desktop. You should have a simple .exe file sitting on your desktop to install the drivers, as normal for XP. Right click the .exe file and select "Properties". Then select the tab called "Compatibility" Now check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Make sure "Windows XP Service Pack 2" is highlighted. Now apply the settings and run the installer. This should work for most drivers, but not all Install and run as Administrator.

Cant instal the printer to mi computer

Setting up or installing a printer in Microsoft Windows. Issue:Setting up or installing a printer in Microsoft Windows.
Solution:There are two different methods a user can install a printer in Microsoft Windows. Below is additional information about each of these methods listed in the order we believe a user should try installing their printer in Microsoft Windows.
Before being able to install your printer you must have the software that was included with the printer. If you've lost the software for your printer you can download the drivers for your printer and use the drivers to install your printer. A listing of printer manufacturers and links to their associated drivers pages can be found on our printer drivers page.
Setup a printer using printer software
Every printer should come with the software used to install a printer in Windows. Although not all installations are the same the steps for installing this software should be similar to the below steps.
  1. Connect the printer to the computer and a power outlet and make sure it's on.
  2. Insert the CD that was included with the printer. If the CD does not automatically start the install program open My Computer, double-click on the CD drive, and then the Setup or Install file.
  3. Follow the installation wizard and your printer and its associated software should be installed successfully.
Installing a printer only using the drivers
In addition to the above steps a users can install a printer in Windows only using the printer drivers. This is recommended if you only want the printer to be installed but not the additional printer software programs that are often included with the installation and/or you've download drivers.
A listing of printer drivers and software downloads can be found through our printer drivers page.
Note: if you've installed the printer doing the above steps these steps should not be necessary unless you encountered errors.
  1. Connect the printer to the computer and a power outlet and make sure it's on.
  2. Click Start, Settings, and Control Panel.
  3. In the control panel double-click the Printers or Printers and Fax icon.
  4. In the Printers window click the Add a printer icon.
  5. After completing the above steps the Windows Printer Wizard will appear. Click Next, to start the wizard.
  6. Windows will prompt you if you're installing a Local or Network printer. If the printer is connected to your computer choose Local printer attached to this computer and click Next.
  7. When prompted for the location of the drivers for the printer. Browse the computer to the directory of your drivers or point it to the CD that was included with your printer.
Testing the printer
After the printer has been installed in Windows you can use Windows to print a self-test page to make sure the printer is working by following the below steps.
Microsoft Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP, 2003, and Vista users
  1. Click Start, Settings, and open Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the Printers or Printers and Fax icon.
  3. Right-click on the Printer you wish to test and click Properties. If you do not see your printer listed your printer is not installed. Seedocument CH000939 for additional information about installing a printer in Windows.
  4. In the Printers Properties window click the Print Test Page button.
  5. If the printer is able to print a test page, you're printer is installed and setup properly. However, if you're unable to print in other programs it's possible that the program you're attempting to print from has issues.

I cant install my new hp office jet J6480

If the standard install is failing follow these steps.

Unplug, uninstall, and remove anything related to your printer install. Delete the printer added to the printer Windows in the control panel. We're starting fresh.
  • If you have Vista and let me know, you're going to have issues and I'll have to give you another set of instructions. Otherwise...
  1. Plug the printer into the wall and the printer cable into your computer. The cable can only go in the right places so just pick a place plug it fits. (a USB port)
  2. Turn the printer on and make sure Windows can detect it. If it can not, you need to check your cable/hardware again.
  3. Cancel the Windows Hardware setup wizard and either run the setup from the CD that came with your printer or download it from HP' website linked here.
  4. Click next, OK, etc. and take the whole install at its default.
  5. Restart the computer.
  6. Try printing, it should work.
A standard install is listed below...but you will need Acrobat reader to see it.

Here are step-by-step instructions with pictures.

Hope this helps.
