The cell phone part of my XV6600 suddenly stopped working. On the phone screen it displays Phone Off and the signal strength indicator has an excalmation point by it. I have another XV6600 that I have activated with the same carrier and phone number and it works fine. How do i get the phone turned back on?

Change closed caller group (settings >security settings>user groups) to 00000 and ure phone will sound the message tone when you are near a radar speed trap. Setting it to 500 will cause your phone 2 set off security alarms at shop exits, gr8 for practical jokes! (works with some of the Nokia phones.) Press and hold "0" on the main screen to open wap browser.

LG viewty phone

I bought this same phone off ebay but they will not work properly in North America.I have talked to different sources and the most important Network band here is(gsm850) which this phone does not have, so in North America you get a very weak signal strength.

Signal Strength

This problem usually happens when you drop the phone and the antenna gets out of her place, then it's only has signal in near the operator antenna, I suggest you take it to a professional who will look at it.shouldn't cost too much

Stop PDA from resetting itself

You need to Hard Reset your device to the deafult manufacter setup. This is easy to do, just open the user manual and read how to preform a ahard reset. Doing so should return the device to its initial factory setup where the on going resets should not happen.
