First push the source button until the stereo is off. Then hold the Program Function(PRG F) key(upper right corner of CD Player) down for ~2 seconds. This will take you to the Initial settings mode keep pressing the PRG F key until you get to the time setting mode. Then select the hour or minute with the left/right arrows located on the right side of the player and the up/down arrows will change the setting.

Dear mommabrown4

Your best thing to do with regards to this particular need is to go to you manufacturers/ vendors website and look at the technical support/ FAQ (frequently asked questions) section and then go from there. The vendor should usually provide the details for your appliance either free or at a small cost.

Listed below is a link for you to get your copy of the manual that matches the model number that you have quoted here, and it is listed below.

http://www.service.pioneer-eur.com/peeservice/RegistrInstrMan.nsf/search?openform&Modelnr=deh-p3100

I hope his link proves useful fo you, and in order for you to read this manual, you will need a copy of adobe acrobat reader, whcih is also freelya available from the internet, and I have also provided this link below, and this is as follows.

http://adobe-reader.download--free.net/adobe/

In order or you to read the manual from the manufacturers'/ vendors' link given in the last two paragraphs, you will need to download and install this PDF file readerfrom adobe. The reason for this is that the manual will be transported over the internet in this file format, and it your computer will not be able to open the file and read the document unless you have the PDF reader, this is why I have provided the contactt link for you to get the progam. It is a free version as far as i know, so you wont have to pay to use it, and even if it is only a trial vversion, then i guess you can always bin it out of your computer once you have read and printed off the manual, just remember to keep backup copies of this link, and the manual in case you ever need to refer to it again.

Now the manual does come in a variety of languages, so for the multilingual user, this is ideal, and if you do end up becoming stuck on any aspect, then i have provided you the contact method to get hold of the Pioneer manufacturer/ vendor, and tey are as listed below.

http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/content/support/support.html

Customer Relations:
Consumers - 0870 600 1539

This is the website and telephone number for te vendor, and here im sure you will be able to get any relevant iformation from tem, if it a repair situation though, be prepared to fork out for some quite high charges though. I have had dealings with pioneer before, and although their customer services are pretty good, you can expect to pay some hefty charges for repairs/ literature relating to repairing products from this vendor by yourself.

I hope that this information proves to be useful, and if there is any other questions or comments you have, feel free to leave those, and i will get bck to you as soon as possible.

Thanks for your query and i hope this is the fixya for you.

yours sincerely

Oz

  2. Press and hold SOURCE again until the clock appears.
*With some models you will press and hold the FUNCTION or AUDIO button instead of the SOURCE button.
  3. Press the left or right arrow to select the segment of time you wish to adjust.
  4. Press the up or down arrows to increase or decrease the numbers in the blinking segment.
  5. Once the clock is set correctly, press the SOURCE button to exit.

Pioneer DEH-P3100 dead

The DEH-P3100 has an onboard 10 amp fuse which protects the whole package. I would not think that is blown, but it does have to have 2 power sources to operate. Usually one from the switch key & ACC and one with 12VDC at all times. The Red goes to the switch key and the Yellow to the continous 12VDC. One of these fuses may be blown.
