Question about Sony Ericsson Walkman W810i Cellular Phone

My w810i has a camera problem......

When i trie to take a picture on my phone, the screen just goes black then back to the main screen, if any one can help pls do thank you.. :)

    I have the same problen..when i open my camera, the screen goes black and then will freeze for about a miinute and go back to main screen.sony ericsson says they dunno what to do and i dun wanna pay to get it fixed if i dun need to..?HELP plz:)

This is the problem of low memory....just free ur memmory card with enough space n restart ur phone den everything wil work fine... if stil exist den copy the contents of ur card format it n again use it backkk

Your phone's firmware is corrupted. Its got nothing to do with the lens. Flash it with R4CK003 firmware and it will be fine..

you might want to check but i think that the w810i can only hold a 2 micro card. thats probaly why its not working. the pantech duo is oen of the ponly phones that can hold the 4.

Did you try to master reset th phone? If that didn't help try to flash the software on your phone with the Sony Ericsson update service.

Trouble entering camera mode


try resetting the phone back to it's default factory settings, that should help.

when u go to ur camera mode try takin ur memory card out see if that solves it failing that reset ur fones memory by going to reset factory settings the pin should be 00000000 or 11111111 any more advice dont hestitate to ask

helow hanan, let's first consider the software problem with your phone try reprogram your phone, maybe the program of your camera get faulty. But be reminded that your file saved on fon memory will be deleted. If it doesnt work we can conclude that your camera was damaged due to the dropped you made.

Camera will not stay on!! Can it be fixed?


The camera mechanism is probably malfunctioning, and the phone switches you back to the main menu. Get a repair estimate I hope someone here can give you a DIY fix though good luck
