I've had this stereo for awhile. Never had problems. I play alot of burned cd's. Have used many different brands of cd-r's. Burned them from iTunes and Windows Media Player 11 etc. Now my stereo has alot of static in the backround when I play my burned cd's. Sounds like a bad radio station. It has even done this with my regular cd's (not burned). I've tried three different cd lens cleaners already. No change. Sometimes it won't play at all. It tries to read the cd and then shows "ERROR". The stereo also seems to get very hot. Not sure how warm they should get.
Please help. I am looking for a new stereo and would rather not, but if this stereo is on it's way out.............there I go.

The radio antenna wire on my eurovox head unit stopped working after an accidental short. I have pulled the unit apart and have traced back from the pin to where the current is not getting through. Simply the current stops at a part that looks like a resistor - has the number on it of 3AIF. One side of the item is alive the other is dead. No question this is where the problem is? After this there is a ceramic capacitor and then basically to the pin (which is now dead). What I need to know is ''what is the part (3AIF) that is no longer passing current? I have given you application of part to help with diagnosis. It has been suggested it could be a choke?? Please Help. Thank you
