How do I change the belt?

there's are website that I know all heavy equipment repair issues servicing, loading, wiring, engine problems everything is covered here its a must try for those who aren't fully equipped with tools or knowledge

The blade drive belt on your MTD edger makes a half twist in its pattern. When the belt was installed, it was twisted the wrong direction. Remove the belt from the blade pulley and reinstall with it twisted the other direction. Before you start the edger again, visually inspect the belt and make sure it is not touching anything other than the pulleys.

you can find the belt by typing your model number into a search engine and it will direct you to a site for parts.

i changed the belt on mine today. The belt will loop over the back left pulley then inside the middle pulley with the back of the belt towards the bottom pulley and the v shape in the top of the pulley you then pull the belt over the front pulley( next to the blade) with a screwdriver and thats it.
