How to replace CD?DVD IN A135-S4467

It's very easy. First turn the laptop off with the DVD bay open. You will have to unscrew the memory ram cover, and pull it.
Afterwards you take a look at the screw that's on the left of the ram's compartiment. See this picture:
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/toshiba-satellite-a135/take-apart-laptop/toshiba-satellite-A135-02.jpg
If you look close to the ram compartment you will see a screw on the left side. Unscrew it and that's it. You will only have to pull the dvd rom firmly outside the laptop-you can pull it from the bay, that why I've told you to let it open.

My Toshiba Satellite 1805-S204 turns off when i'm trying to open DVD-ROM bay. Sometimes i can open it but than notebook turns off when i'm closing DVD-ROM bay. I want to disassemble 1805-S204 to find out...

I suspect, if you haven't got it working on the AC adaptor when this happens, that maybe the battery is low power. If it does it when the AC adaptor is being used then I think you are right, the DVD ROM is faulty.
Remove the battery and AC adaptor.
Remove the Memory cover.
There is a singel screw that holds the DVD drive bay in. Remove the screw and pull the drive out.
Replace the drive with and IDENTICAL model and that should be that.
Hope this helps.

HOW DO I CHANGE CD/DVD DRIVE IN A TOSHIBA SATELLITE P105-S6114?

You can use the Toshiba Satellite guide for removing and replacing the DVD/CD-ROM drive or the keyboard. On this model you have to remove the keyboard in order to remove and replace the DVD/CD-ROM drive because the optical drive securing screw is located under the keyboard. Always start laptop disassembly with removing the battery or you can damage the system board if you accidentally touch it with a screwdriver and shorten traces. Removing the keyboard strip is not very difficult, use your fingers to release the plastic latches. If you want to replace the keyboard, do not forget to unlock the connector on the system boar before you pull the cable.

Toshiba satellite p205ds7454, pioner dvd-rw dvr-k17lf ata device

If you are asking for the information regarding the ODD here it is: DVD SuperMulti (+/-R double layer) with Labelflash? drive supporting 11 formats * Maximum speed and compatibility: CD-ROM (24x), CD-R (24x), CD-RW (4x), DVD-ROM (8x), DVD-R (Single Layer, (8x)), DVDR (Double Layer, (4x)), DVD-RW (4x), DVD+R (Single Layer, (8x)), DVD+R (Double Layer, (4x)), DVD+RW (4x), DVD-RAM (5x) * Supports Labelflash? media to burn high quality labels directly on the disk. If not ( Cant read CD or DVD ) then most likely the lens on the ODD is already busted. or ODD cant be detected then just go to the Website support.toshiba.com and download the latest update for the ODD. And install the driver on your NB and restart the NB. If still the same then the ODD you have is already busted what you need to do is to buy a new ODD.

Need to remove the cd/dvd drive in Toshiba Satellite A135 S4527 l

Most notebooks have a quick release button underneath for the CD-rom. There may also be a screw holding it in place. It's unlikely that you would have to remove your keyboard to take the dvd drive out.

How to replace dvd rom drive.NO release button on base!

Firstly there is a screw on the underside of the laptop that needs to be removed.I ts is located on the edge of the drive.
Next the keyboard needs to be removed. To do this, remove the strip at the top of the laptop containing the power butto by inserting a small flat blade screwdriver at under it and prising it up.
After removal, undo the three screws holding the keyboard and flip the keyboard over.
Undo the screw that holds the keyboards strap securing plate and then slide the drive out.
Be warned though that not all drives work in these laptops. It has to be the exact type for the machine as most do not work.
Assembly is the reversal of the above.
Hope this helps.

INSTALLATION OF DVD ROM DRIVE FOR TOSHIBA SATELLITE A45-S150

Underneath your satellite there should be either a spring loaded lock to unlock/release the drive, or there could be a panel to remove that will expose a single screw that holds your optical drive in place. Releasing the drive with whichever locking mechanism is securing it should allow you to remove and install the new drive (if it's a screw, don't forget to replace it after the new drive is installed).
I hope this helps, and Good Luck.

Removing the hdd in my toshiba 1135-s125

OK, This is a big undertaking if you are completely new.

1st, if you can get a static guard wrist band - great!
2nd You will be dealing with plenty of screws so keep track

In Toshiba notebooks most screws are marked. Here are some examples:
F4 - flat-head screw 4mm long
B6 - button-head screw 6mm long
F16 - flat-head screw 16mm long
B8 - button-head screw 8mm long

I have .a Toshiba Satellite 1135-S155. It should be a similar configuration, same family/1135-S1xx series.

You will have to remove a total of 9 Phillips screws.

Place the underside of the PC up.
Disconnect all power, cables and Battery from Laptop
.
The first screw is located just under the Toshiba Serial Number / Bar codes, just above where the DVD/CD-ROM combo drive is located.
Mine is labeled (F5). Unscrew it and place in a safe place.
Pull DVD/CD-ROM combo drive out it is an assembly.

The Hard Drive is located under the DVD/CD-ROM combo drive.
The Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is enclosed within a caddy containing the remaining eight screws.

There are four screws holding the caddy rails to the Laptop and four screws holding the rails, caddy and Hard Drive as an assembly.
Unscrew and place in a safe place/ container they are small. Disassemble the HDD from caddy assembly; place your HD in the caddy and reassembly.

Here is another Toshiba HDD access that is slightly more
straightforward than my 1135 series
So you get an idea of where a HDD is visually:

Above is a photo of the Battery sliding out

Below is the Hard Drive Removal

I hope this gives you an idea of how to go about it for your
particular Laptop

If you need further assistance, let me know
