I was wondering if someone can help me to fix my scaner. Unfortunetly I made a mistake during my moving. I turn it upside down and now the scaner and all others fucntion isn't working. Just want to know how the mechanical part of the scaner works. It seems if I can put that back to what it was, all will work back again.

I am having the same problem with my MFC-420CN. It is not printing in black even with a new Brother cartridge. While trying to figure out why the black was not printing, I turned it upside down and now the scanner will not work either. HELP

As far as the scanner, you will have to have someone repair it or replace the printer. The manuals that can be obtained online do not have the technical information that would be needed to be able to repair that detailed of a situation. Sorry. If your printer is still under warranty, then go to www.brother-usa.com and follow the links there to obtain service.

For the problem with not printing all the colors, you will need to go to:
