I've had this Panasonic DMC-FZ30 camera for about three years and all of a sudden it started to take two photos when I snap the shutter once. Any ideas?

For years I have a Lumix FZ30 working perfectly. Suddenly since yesterday, when I shift the start button from "off" to "on" the Camera does not react at all. Batteries OK, no previous problems! Any idea?

YOur power botton may short from inside. Can you remove your battery and clean the place properly and try, may be the reason of sulfer also. if not then visit service center.
