Problem with the videosignal

Hi and please help me!

i bought a nv-hd680 videorecorder in a 2handshop and didnt get any remotecontroll to it
the videorecorder worked fine with a scart to the tv as they tried it in the shop

but now i have problems to get the videosignals to my tv
the tv i have is a old panasonic too, a quintrix that hasn´t got any scart only a antenna input.and i have to search for the signal on the tv manually (which totally sucks and drives me crazy!!!)
i know the tv can pick up videosignals because i tried it with a videocamera.but with the videorecorder it just doesnt work

so my question is:
do you need a remote to tune in the videosignal?
is there a way to increase the signal directly on the videorecorder?
(as for some videos where u can screw and adjust the signal on the back of the video)

im more then greatfull for some help!i´ve actually been crying over this today cause its such a stupid problem and feels like it belongs to the stoneage
PLEASE!
help me

/Linda

The video signals are already set up at the factory and there STANDARD signals , what you can do is to look on the back of your VCR and look for a SWITCH that says 3 or 4 , to switch to either channel to see if you can get a better lock on the signal , example if you select 4 on the back of the VCR then turn to channel 4 on the tv to see if it works . good luck

Video cassette stuck in machine

That model uses either the K Deck or G Deck, I can't remember which, but I have both service manuals on my blog (free), so you can download both. I think it should explain have to remove the stuck tape.

Casette is stuck in my panasonic nv-hd 680 vcr and display shows F4.Could anyone tell me how to solv it -please !!

I believe F4 means the mechanism is locking up when unloading the tape. You should look into the operation of the loading motor.

Hi, I have a Panasonic nv-sd430 player and I get a fault "F 04" and I can not play some old videos, the player has little use, but many years was used, thank

You have a K Mech model, searching online for "Pansonic K Mech" will produce more information on it which will help solve the problem.
F04 Means the mechanism is locking when it unloads. The cause of which is the Load motor timing.

Panasonic VCR model number NV-HD640B comes up with fault code H01 - what is this and how do I fix it?

You have a Panasonic K Deck Mechanism, you can search for more free info on it via Google. Meanwhile H01 means no drum motor or drive, it's to do with the main VCR head not going around.

Panasonic NV HD620 Error F06

You appear to have a model that uses the K Deck Chassis.
F06 in that case stands for: "Mechanism locks after unload". The cause being either the loading motor or the carriage alignment.
