I ordered and downloaded my Nortons on April 7, 2010. The Symantec Order Confirmation number was # 9079574714 This was for one year 34MB According to the printout that I did, it tells me it has been saved in my Norton Account. It also states that the subscription for this account has started. My order number was 9079574714 April 7, 2010 Problem: I am not covered..I keep getting all this junk mail, plus the big Red/Black sign to the tright og my screen stating that my Nortons has expired. I am mad, mad, mad!!! If I have missed a step in setting it up, I apologize, but I want some info NOW!!! This is so frustrating. Thank you. Brenda Scrogham [email protected]

If you have a legal downloaded copy of Norton, go to the purchase confirmation email you received from Symantec and click on the download link again. If it doesn't work, call Symantec with your order number to request an updated download link.
This has worked for me in the past. I had the same problem a year ago and Symantec provided an updated download link.
I am sorry but I cannot see how this site can possibly help you resolve a billing issue with Symantec. Nor can I see any possible reason why they would have referred you to a third party. You need to take this up with Symantec.
You need to update this order number into Norton Antivirus. Additionally NAV may actually need to be reinstalled. Symantec should be able to talk you through any issues with your resubscription process, as you haven't been specific enough with what you have done on with your client software during the renewal fo your subscription.
Norton is famous for this kind of problem. You can call their tech support, or just get AVG Free, which is what I've used for years.
