Question about Ovens
Front control panel gets very hot - error code 32 or 07 then shuts oven down
Any advise - would a door gasket work or the other gasket?
Engineers too expensive - also Hotpoint don't seem to be able to advise
It sounds like the module is momentarily losing power when the bake relay clicks off. Does it do the same thing when you use broil?
Post back with the complete model number and I will try to find the wiring diagram for it and we will walk through checking it.

SOURCE: oven not getting hot
The fan oven element needs to be replaced in the Hotpoint 6150 cooker.
Access is by removing the inner rear cover of the oven, there you will see the element.
Replace with a new one.
It is possible the base element is faulty in the top oven of the Hotpoint EW95,
The other possibility is that the high speed grill element is only part working. You need to check both these elements.
If the fan is working o/k in the main oven , but not getting hot, then you need to replace the element.
If it does heat, then it could be a faulty thermostat or possibly selector switch.
Unless you have a good working knowledge of electrics and know how to use a meter, then I would suggest you call some one in.
Plz rate my solution

Hi, well this is a brain tester!! I think you need really to look at this in a simple way. Check to see where the door lock wires come from first? Find where the mains power comes into? then if it goes directly to the main control board then check to see if there is any power getting through the board to the otherside where the wires disapear into the cooker. I would consider checking the control board for any signs of burn damage and then look at the clock unit to as these are normally the main components in the cooker that will stop it from working.

The company has local contractors that they send out to repair your oven if it is under warranty. They will give you give you those numbers if you call and you are not under warranty. You can take a class at the next Subway convention or NAASF forum. That will not help you now, but you will be able to buy parts for half price. The repair company will charge you full price and close to $100 an hour. I have been charged $75 to $125 just for them to show up. I took the class and fix them myself now.
