Re: E005 Error message
This means your cleaning belt in the fusing unit is in need of replacement. An easy fix. If you pull out the upper unit, on the left side is the fusing unit. Turn off the machine and take the screws out of the yellow cover and remove it. You will then see the cleaning belt which looks like cheese cloth. Gently remove it by pushing both the rolls slightly forward and they should pop out. If it's not too dirty you can just swap the left side for the right by turning it over and use the other side. You will want to order another and replace it soon.
Also try installing the NetStop software that came with your printer, it will diagnose errors when connected to a PC. You can download here:

Error E005 means the fuser cleaner roller has run out & may need a replacement. If the error is false it will disappear by following the reset procedure. To clear this error code press * 2 and 8 * in that 2&8 are pressed simultaneously. Go to the web counter and clear the counter back to Zero (0). Machine will now restart your machine & error code will disappear. If this doesn't help then try clearing both web counters in service mode, COUNTER>MISC>FIX-WEB> and COUNTER>DRBL-1>FIX-WEB> perform a Error Clear in service mode FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR>. Hope this helps...
