Question about Canon imageRUNNER 600 Printer
Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks!
This means your cleaning belt in the fusing unit is in need of replacement. An easy fix. If you pull out the upper unit, on the left side is the fusing unit. Turn off the machine and take the screws out of the yellow cover and remove it. You will then see the cleaning belt which looks like cheese cloth. Gently remove it by pushing both the rolls slightly forward and they should pop out. If it's not too dirty you can just swap the left side for the right by turning it over and use the other side. You will want to order another and replace it soon.
Also try installing the NetStop software that came with your printer, it will diagnose errors when connected to a PC. You can download here: http://www.usa.canon.com/html/download/netspotutils.html
