Question about Archos AV 500 400-Hours Video Recorder
Hey Man, was wondering if you ever found a solution for when the screen just goes white? I've tried putting the usb into it and still no change! Is there any way I can refomat the drive or start all over again??
Must be a common problem - I didn't use mine for a number of months and when I 'dusted it off' it started up and just sat there with the white screen. It works fine on the TV but doesn't display on the LCD screen. I have downloaded the latest firmware, formatted the H/Disk and re-installed all the original software but to no avail.
I reckon it must be a dry joint or some other harware fault. Anyone know of a fix yet?

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
