I had the same problem. Indicator flashing. F7 displayed. Nothing seems to work. The following worked for me: Remove the filter on the floor of the machine, including the metal grill. Press & hold the start button (like you do when you want to cancel a programme). this will drain the water out of your clogged up drain outlet. Clean your filter and grill and replace it. My guess is that the sensor in the drain (a little glass tube) measures whether the water going out is clean enough to decide that your dishes are now rinsed correctly. If your filter's clogged, the water going down the drain is still dirty. After a while it gets sick of trying and stops the machine. F7 in whirlpoolese may mean "Clean my filter now or you can wash your own bloody dishes"

Problem is error code f7 keeps appearing

Error code F7 normally indicates a fault with the flow meter. This is located inside the plastic tank, on the left side of the machine.
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. pull it out (if under counter).
3. If it's a freestanding model , remove the top. Then take off the left side panel.
4. Locate the plastic tank, on the side of the tub, is the flow meter.
5. There is a small plug attached to it. Pull the plug off and plug it on again several times. This should clean up connection which may have become corroded.
Put it back together and try the machine again.

In my dishwasher Whirpool ADP 8967 after the washing cycle start the drying cycle when start it I got the error F7 and the machine stop the cycle. Can some one help me?

Hi simone_b_630,

F7 is known as a fill fault.

1) Remove the filters and the mesh filter, clean out the black grid in the bowl carefully. Don't burst the membrane inside it.

2) Try the machine again after resetting it. (Reset it by holding the start button for 8 - 10 seconds)

3) If the fault persists, take off the left hand panel and unplug the flow-meter, located bottom front of the large plastic water matrix.

4) Plug it back on, reset the machine and try it again.

Also make sure the fill hose isn't kinked and that water is actually entering the machine.

Bauknecht GF7199 F7 light has come on

F7 error indicates a fault with the water flow meter .

Check the sump filter at the bottom of the dishwasher, then close the door and turn on the power. then hold the start button with the + and - buttons under the LCD display, until the drain pump starts. This should then reset the dishwasher.

Hope this helps .
