HOW DO I FIX A BROKEN WATERPUMP BOLT

Hi Glenn:
Usually the process will be to replace the bolt.
To do so it's easiest to remove the water pump. That involves draining the radiator, removing the fan, shroud, belt, everything that is in the way, then taking out the remaining bolts.
If you-re lucky, the broken one will have enough exposed to be able to get a grip on to remove. If not, you'll need to drill it and use an easy-out.
Then it's re-assemble with a new gasket

I have a Trane XE 90 Furnace Model#TUC100C948B7. My fan inside the furnace is disconnected and thumping around. How can I find out the cause (i.e. belt issue, etc) and can I fix it myself? Where can I...

Hi,
The fan part either came loose from the shaft or they often break off of the hub and you will need to replace the blower wheel...
If you take the bottom cover off you can reach into the blower and tell what has ahppened...if it simply is loose then the fix is very easy, there is a set screw that holds it on,just retighten the blower wheel.
I suspect that the wheel is broken and that is much harder, but can be done with simple hand tools...and some time...
Your local dealer can order you a new wheel or they are avaiable of the internet...

I have a suncutter outside air unit and the fan barren has broken and i need a new fan for this unit I have the model # can you tell me where to locate one

Generally speaking the fan motor will have to be removed and taken to an appliance repair supply house. The unit model number will need to be written down and taken with you, but it is best to compare the motors when purchasing.

Whirlpool A/C Model #ACQ158XP

Unfortunately, your model does not have a fan belt so you may need to have it serviced by a technician. Prior to calling one, clean the room air filter and hose off the coil from the outside if you can get to it. Unplug the unit first. The squealing may be a dry bearing in the room air fan. If you can get to the fan, put 2 or 3 drops of electric motor oil on the fan shaft and work it into the motor housing by hand. Make sure you are getting power at the outlet. If so and the unit does not show any signs of life (lights or a fan), probably the fuse inside the unit has blown and will need replacing. Good Luck.
