Have a look at the soldering to the headphone jack, it might have come lose or the jack is faulty, thus cutting off the sound to the speaker.

What capacitors are used in power supply

The DAB 211 FW DAB radio is a digital audio broadcasting (DAB) radio that uses a power supply to operate. The power supply is typically an external device that is plugged into an electrical outlet and connected to the radio via a power cord. The power supply provides the necessary voltage and current for the radio to function. The specific type and specifications of the power supply will vary depending on the manufacturer and model of the radio. The service manual for the 1816B Case Skid Steer will not contain information on the power supply for the DAB 211 FW DAB radio. You may contact the manufacturer or a local electronics repair shop for more information on the power supply for the DAB 211 FW DAB radio.

I need help with using my TEAC DV-200 speakers as an external audio source for my smart tv using the digital optical cable connection.

Are you using just the speakers (designated DV-200) or the full
Teac DV-C200 DVD Audio/Video Micro System?

You would need the digital optical cable out from the television to a digital optical cable input on the DV-C200 system. Digital is not like a normal signal in the way that analogue AM radio and FM digital radio differ. In fact it is more like DAB radio.

The best thing to do it Google the manual for the television and the speaker system and read the input and output specs.

I bought a Bush digtal/ AM/ FM radio ("retro transistor" style). DAB reception dropouts lasting several seconds each time have started occurring recently. AM/ FM is ok.

Constant usage of DAB should not cause it any damage ever. The dropouts are very characteristic of a poor signal reaching the DAB tuner, as digital is either there, or not there, nothing in between.

Check the aerial connection if any, the rod antenna if any, and try moving the antenna (whatever it is) to a better location, usually higher up, away from thick walls, and away from speakers if any.

Speaker in/speaker out not working

Are you feeding the monitor via an HDMI connection? HDMI carries digital audio as well as digital video signals. If using DVI or VGA to connect it to your PC, there is no audio being fed to the monitor, so nothing can come out, unless you have a separate audio cable running to the monitor as well from the computer :o)

Macbook pro headphone audio

Go in to the "applications>utilities" folder. Run the "Audio/MIDI Setup" program. Insure the audio out is actually going to the headphone out.

No sound from speaker

If the volume is adjusted when the headphones are plugged in I'd be looking at the speaker. It may need replacing. I don't know if the headphones are run from a preamp or attenuated via the audio output IC. If it's run from the preamp then the main output could be kaput. Check the speaker and it's wiring first and go from there.
