I have an issue with a computer. one day it stopped turning on all of a sudden. checked PSU and its not getting any power. (usually fan will turn a bit then stop), now decided a faulty PSU is the problem...

Good day.
You are down with your motherboard as the main suspect of the problem. To isolate it, remove all the devices (hard disk, optical drive, video card, memory) that is connected to your board. Turn-on your PC. If your PSU is still acting abnormal then your motherboard is defected and you need to buy a new one, else, you can replaced one at a time the devices you have removed earlier.
Feel free to post again here at Fixya if you still have a problem.
Good luck.

My computer refused to start it run windows server 2000 on a network

you would have to pull parts and replace with known good parts and systematically isolate the problem. Example computer doesnt start find a good power supply pull installed psu and replace with new psu.try to boot. If that works your back in business if not, next i would start with ram and harddrive. etc untill you find the problem. good luck

ABOUT 15 VERTICAL LINES ARE SHOWING ON MY TOSHIBA SATELLITE P105 LAPTOP. WHAT SHOULD I DO

Could be the LCD itself, the ribbon cable between the motherboard (or the video card) and the LCD. Or the video chip itself. Hooking up an external monitor and enabling it (usually by using the Fn key and another key that looks like a monitor). If this looks ok, then it is either the ribbon cable or the LCD itself. Good luck!

Activating COT2 wireless mouse

Your ACME COT2 wireless mouse must have come in two pieces, the USB connector the mouse itself.
Insert the USB connector of your wireless mouse to your Toshiba Satellite and press simultaneously the button in your USB connector and the button in the wireless mouse. This is done in order to pair the mouse to the USB connector.

When I turn on the Toshiba Satellite A215-S7447 laptop, the monitor part of it doesn't turn on with the rest of the system.

Plug in an external monitor. use the <FN><F5> keys to toggle between the internal lcd and the external monitor. If the display external works and the lcd doesn't, most likely a bad inverter board.

My toshiba m105 it wasn't the inverter, it was the lcd itself, the TAB welds were no good but the lcd still worked it just had a 3" vertical blacked out area on the lcd.

Toshiba Satellite M55-S325 turning itself off

Hi subji, try running the notebook without the battery connected & just the AC adapter. See if the notebook continues to shut down. It wouldn't hurt to raise the notebook off the table surface anout an inch but check the function of your notebook like I mantioned (without the battery first).
Post back your results.

Won't turn on

Ok it sounds as if ya Power Supply Unit (PSU) may have gone faulty. Generally when a PC won't turn on it can only be caused by a few things. a faulty PSU, a faulty component/card stopping the PSU from working, Motherboard Fault. Faulty RAM

Ya have to isolate which one. So first open ya case up, then take note of the way things are connected. (Write them down, draw a picture) Then unplug ya Hard Drive, try it,  & then ya CD/DVD & try it, take any add on cards out, try it... & so on... to isolate ya faulty bit.

If it still doesn't go after removing everything except the Motherboard, then ya gonna have to try another Know Good PSU.... of course if it doesn't  work then, ya have a MotherBoard fault.

Just work thru it slowly.. and ya be all good.
