Not cooling well.low cooling

Sounds like the freon is low. Needs a repair man with a tester to check the pressure. when he is there check for small leaks in the lines as well. It's tryng to work but no pressure to work wityh.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Sounds like you have a defrost issue. Hence your unit is not defrosting. All of this apply's if your freezer side has ice on it. If not. you have other issues
Here is a list of some things that can go wrong.
1. Defective heat coil
2. Defective defrost timer
3. Defective defrost sensor
4. Defective Fan
5. Defective compartment inlet damper (on some models)

You should call a service company to resolve your issue.

is the ice on the back wall or was the door left open?also send the model number,you'll find it in the fridge side on the right hand wall up near the ceiling,it will start with like 106. or similar

an e.c.m. motor will have a constant 220. verify you have 24 volts on one of the speed taps. if high and low voltage present AT THE MOTOR, the motor is bad. Recently changed 8 blower motors the week after Irma, its pretty common for those modules to surge.

To tell if the ac coolant requires replacement the car will not cool when the sun is out and at all time you might have to put the car ac in coolest to enable a little bit of cold air.

Also the back seat will not be cool except the car is running on the highway.

Gas might be leaking somewhere.

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board. If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.

Possible causes are dirty filters, dirty condenser coil, dirty evaporator coil, or low referigerant charge. Any one of the conditions will affect heat transfer.

Check the filters in your indoor unit, If they seem to be clean and replaced on a regular basis, your evaporator coil is probably in good shape. Unfortunatley on some Weather King models even checking the evaporator coil is not possible due to the extensive amount of referigerent lines that block access to the coil without some major work including evacuating the refrigerant.

The most likely cause is a dirty outdoor condenser coil. On weather king models you will have to remove the casing that surrounds the coil because is is built in such a way that the condenser coil cannot be properly cleaned with the casing in place. Once it is removed make sure breaker is switched off and clean the coil with a water hose.

If your outdoor coil is not dirty then it is a refrigerent problem.

the freezer does all the cooling for both sides a few shelves down in the fridge on the left hand side there is an air intake make sure nothing is blocking it also listen for the freezer fan to run if its not look at the coils in the bottom of the freezer to see if they are heavly frosted in the fridge side at the top left side should be some vents hold your hand there to see if air is blowing through if not reply to me well go from there
