No it's not a fuse, when they pop they won't work again,if it's gas it's most likely the gas coils located on top of the gas valve, remove the two phillips screws, remove the cover and change out the coils.also when was the last time you cleaned out the dryer?all a dryer does is move air,if something gets clogged with lint the dryer can't move the air correctly and problems start.clean out the vent line,if it's a long run from the back of dryer to the outside hood i use a leaf blower to blow out the line, then clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into and vac out the inside of dryer where the motor is.let me know what you find and next time send the model number

No heat 98 ford f150

verify heat is in normal range using dash gauge. if its normal then good. if it is below normal, you may have a sticking open thermostat not allowing heat to build up enough for "hot" heat. but usually luke warm heat will be this issue.

If everything is fine with gauge heat, check the hoses going to your heater core with your hands. they BOTH should be hot. If one is hot and another is warm then you have heater core issues. If both are HOT then you may want to check your temp controls. either temp control may not be working or the door that changes temp may be stuck in the cold position... there are many things, but checking the heater core hoses are most likely going to reveal bad heater core.

You will need wiring diagrams and volt meter to diagnose anything other than touching hoses and looking at gauge.

I have a kenmore 110.87561601 dryer, it blows warm air but not hot, is this the norm for it?

Check power at the outlet. If you're not getting the full 240v then it'll come out warm but not hot. Otherwise I would go with the timer.

Dryer does not get real hot just luke warm

Sounds like one of the heating coils has broken. Replacement usually requires complete dismantlement of the unit to get at the back of the barrel.

Kenmore dryer

Probably too late to help either of you since this is so old but there are two possibilities (assuming everything else works as normal).

1st
If you really mean the circuit breaker to your house, then the heating element is bad and pulling too many amps. It may be shorting out when it gets hot due to the expansion of metal.

2nd
If you mean a switch on (or in) the dryer then you mean a thermal breaker (or thermal fuse). The most likely problem is that the exhaust vent for the dryer is plugged up with lint either within the dryer itself or in the part that is in your wall and exits someplace outside (could be as far as the roof). When the hot air can't escape the dryer overheats and shuts off to prevent a fire.
