Delta 400-DST Single Handle Kitchen Faucet Spigot Drips

I've installed quite a few of these from the big box stores that leak. There are 2 rubber pieces inside the valve body that act as seats. The seats are what turn the water on and off as you move the handle. These rubbers need to be replaced. You can buy a delta repair kit, which will contain these parts. Where the faucet is new, it might be easier to bring it back

Faucet won't stop dripping. Does it need replacing?

No it doesn't need replacing gif you turn your water source off and take the faucet apart most of them have rubber O rings in them and you can go to your local hardware store and get new O rings. It is cheaper then buying a new one faucet

My husband just replaced a bathroom faucet yesterday and it is dripping. did we do something wrong? and what should we do? Thanks It is a moen faucet.

If this is a brand new faucet and hubby hasn't taken it apart i would take it back where I bought it. It should not be dripping at all. Just installing it I can't see where he could have done anything that would make it drip from the faucet unless the drip is from a fitting he didn't get tight enough somewhere. If the drip is at the spout take it back and get a new one they are gauranteed and the place you bought it should replace it for you no problem.

Replace the seal on the 470 DST single handle pull out faucet

Turn the water off at the faucet, remove the handle and the retaining nut that is apart of the trim. You will see where you can use a wrench to remove it. The ball assembly will come right out and you can replace the washers right below it. Put it back together and if needed, tighten the tension ring that is on the retaining nut (usually grey or white in color) so it won't leak water around the ball stem. Good luck.

Leaking faucet

The faucet is slowing wearing out. You can live with this little drip or have a repair kit installed in the faucet. If you are handy you can do this yourself.
You must be sure to get the repair kit that matches your faucet. good luck

Grohe Bathroom Faucet

If you don,t see any set screw for the handle, ( sometimes it is hidden under a small access cover top of the handle) Then the handle is threaded on where the base of the handle meets the sink/countertop surface. It is a right hand thread and will take a few turn before it comes off accessing the faucet stem.

Good Luck, Phil
