Hi gill,
1. pls reboot your computer system inorder to recover from any computing error.
2.download a new printer driver from the internet plus the update

3.Run the new downloaded software on your computer while the printer is connected and powered up

First uninstall the printer completely and delete the printer files from the Program files folder.
Restart the computer and download and install the latest version Adobe flash player.
Install the printer driver.
That should work.

I cant scan

Hello,

All support for the F380 AIO-printer is on next site:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=1128296&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us
Scan function might be not working, having no scan software installed.
1. Download software plus updates for your printer.
On the support page select:
Software & Driver Downloads
Operating System
> Download the Full Feature Software: this should contain software for
both printer and scan functions, to a location on the computer
> Download updates, to a location on the computer
2. Detach the printer from the computer: take out the USB cable.
3. Uninstall the software for the F380.
4. Install the full feature software plus updates for the printer.
5. Do not connect the printer until installation has finished or only when a message shows up, during installation, to power up the printer and connect the USB cable.

I had bought new laptop but I lost my cd software could you please connect me to my HP deskjet F380 all in one printer+scanner+copier?

Hi linavogz,
Click here to select what type and support you need

You can go straight to Supports and Drivers to download software after you select the OS your using. Or choose setup and install which verifies your installation.
With this printer, I would select the first and biggest Driver software to download and install. After installation, I would click the first tab on the download page to continuously update the hp software.

Please do not connect the printer to the computer until software is installed, and the computer has re-booted.
I found this out the hard way.

When hp printer software is installed, and the computer has re-booted, connect the printer to the computer using the your chosen link, or the USB link, and make sure the printer is on. You will see some reaction coming from your computer, and in a little while you'll be ready to operate your printer.

Since you plan to using most of the feature with this printer, I would go back and select additional software and updates that I think I would need for this printer.

Hope this helps you!

My scanner on my f300 printer won't scan

It sounds like the issue is software related. When the light is flashing it is sending the file to the computer but then nothing is happening. You either have not installed the software or you need to uninstall and reinstall.

Both require you to download the most recent drivers - don't use the CD unless you do not have a highspeed internet connection. Just click on the link and enter product name and the OS and choose the most recent full feature software and drivers.

HP Deskjet F380 Drivers

Select the operating system you have on your machine say windows Vista, Windows XP, whatever, that would take to to the download page, under drivers select the HP print and scan drivers, download it and install that in your computer by following the instruction.

Sreedipto again

Hi again,

To summarize what has been done and/or what we know so far:
1. You cannot install the CD driver/installer of an HP DeskJet F380;
2. you have administrative rights and/or are the administrator;
3. you are not running a registry lock such as Ad-Watch;
4. there are no known viruses, suspicious/malicious files,
5. you can access all including restricted functions.

Other things you can try:
a. clear all pending print jobs;
b. clear the print spooler & queue;
c. use Disk Cleanup to clean all temporary and unwanted files;
d. uninstall all instances of the HP F380 in the Printers & Faxes;
e. verify that no instance or remove any of HP F380 in Add/Remove Programs;
f. verify that no instance or remove any of HP F380 in MSConfig;
g. verify that no instance or remove any of HP F380 in Registry;
h. run registry cleaners such as RegClean, WinOptimizer and/or WinDoctor;
i. remove/re-install all Universal Serial Bus Controllers
j. update/patch your USB port from Microsoft
k. update your USB drivers from the motherboard manufacturer;
l. re-install the HP F380 following the directions and on-screen carefully.

Pls update results of above.

A friendly not, your initial/original post was "Please help ." and nothing more. I am providing assistance on the assumption that you are asking for help and not demanding it as reflected in the tone of your questions above.

Good luck and kind regards.
