Question about Epson LQ-2180 Dot Matrix Printer
Please help me how can i solve this problem.
The LQ2180 blinking lights can be caused by paper jammed, printhead overheated, paper loaded not detected and cover unclosed. Try to check all this first, you may have a fragment of paper stick to the sensors, or broken sensor. If all of the light flashing try to check the carriage movement, move it side to side, but with power off condition. If the carriage movement not smooth or stuck, look for any foreign matters inside the carriage path that blocking the movement if not, try to lubricate the rail which hold the carriage. If this doesnt solve you, the machine require parts replacement.
