I am looking for replacement faceplates for my STR8-150's. I currently have the dark blue ones but would like to get the silver ones pictured above. If you know where I can find them or if you have them and would like to trade for the dark blue ones, let me know. Btw, the color is almost black not the blue ones that look like royal blue. In great condition! Thanks! [email protected]

Z3 projector.3 years old. Blue tinge in one corner of projected picture. Grainy picture on dark scenes.

There may be some problem with your picture tube else try this that looks like retrace lines. Anyway, you should try to adjust screen pot not focus pot. Make sure you are turning blue screen pot (there are 3 focus pots and 3 screen pots) and do it slowly. If you turn it too much, it will affect your grayscale

Why does my sanyo dp46848 screen go dark but whites are too bright?

First try to gently push the cable between the main board and the LCD controller (T-CON) board and if that doesn't affect the image then replace the T-con board.

I need to know what screws are for what 2 black, 1 gold 1 silver

You are install a switch-receptacle combo.

As you have realized, screw color is the key.
1) Black hot wire connects to dark colored screws.
Both dark screws are connected together with brass plate, so hot wire only needs to connect to one of the dark screws.

2) Wire going to Load (light, fan, motor) connects to brass colored screw.

3) White neutral wire connects to silver colored screw.

4) Lets look at problem as if new wiring device is replacing old on-off switch that has two wires.
So old on-off switch has two wires >> one is black hot wire, and other is wire going to load.
Separate wires, turn on power and test each wire to bare ground wire.
Tester lights up on hot wire. This wire goes on dark screw.
If old on-off switch had another wire connected with the hot wire, that wire also goes on the dark screw.
The other wire from old switch is the Load wire, and it connects to brass colored screw.

Now you need a neutral wire.
In back of box are white wires twisted together and covered with wire nut.
These are neutrals.
To confirm that these wires are neutrals >> turn on power and test hot wire to other wires in box. Tester lights up on neutral.
Neutral wire connects to silver screw, and this will complete the circuit for any electric device plugged into receptacle.
If box does not have neutral wires as described above, you can violate code and connect bare ground to silver screw >>> but do NOT do this if your new plug is going to be used regularly.
You can use bare ground temporarily until additional wiring is made available.

The dark color of my tv was change unspected the dark color now are blue, violet, and other exept black, the dark scense can't see. please help me.

I believe you either have a bad LCD Controller Board or a bad Main Board. The only way to know is to replace one. If it doesn't fix it , replace the other. Or replace both and it should be fixed.
I hope this helps,

Dark screen

try this, on the laptop keyboard on the bottom left cornet, there should be a button that says 'Fn' written in 'blue'

also on the keyboard, there are secondary buttons, if you look on some off the buttons on the keyboard, there are some pics, numbers letter etc written in blue on the buttons, look for one that has a arrow up and beside that on the same button a picture of a sun, when found do this:

Hold Fn and click on that key with the arrow pointing up with picture of sun and tap that button repeatedly to increase back light while holding the Fn button down firmly
